Drake unveiled the visual for his Scorpion track “Nonstop” on Friday, Jul. 27. The Theo Skudra-directed video features the Toronto native musician in the zone and in the club with some famous friends.
The black-and-white visual starts with Drizzy performing at London’s Wireless Festival, where he made a surprise appearance at earlier this year after DJ Khaled pulled out in the eleventh hour. The actor-rapper made sure to get the crowd hype while performing the track, as the studio version played over him.
Later on, paparazzi follow the platinum-selling artist into a club where he parties with French Montana and Quavo of Migos.
In the Scorpion era, Drake has released several eye-catching and viral videos. “God’s Plan” featured him donating millions to those in need in Miami, Fla, while “Nice For What” celebrated some powerful bad women in Hollywood, such as Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish and Yara Shahidi. His most recent video, “I’m Upset,” featured Drake’s former cast members from his Degrassi days attending a reunion at their former stomping grounds.
Scorpion earned Drake his eighth consecutive number-one album on the Billboard 200 chart. In its first week, he sold nearly one million equivalent album units and broke several streaming records.
