Shiggy’s 15 minutes are not up. The viral internet star and Drake have linked yet again to provide the people with another moment for the culture.
After the Toronto native surprisingly brought out the funny man on stage, Shiggy (named Shaquille Mitchell) did his viral dance for over 20,000 people at the iconic Madison Square Garden during the New York City leg of Drizzy’s Aubrey and The Three Migos Tour.
“[This is the] Moment I’ve Been Waiting For,” the social media and web personality wrote on Twitter in reference to the surreal event.

Song of the summer, “In My Feelings,” has taken the internet by storm ever since the comedian posted a video challenging viewers to #DoTheShiggy over the infectious beat. While the song itself bears likability, Drake has accredited the track’s now 7-week reign on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart to the viral dance challenge.
“Man, got me a No. 1 record today. Oh my god!” he can be heard saying during their Los Angeles link up.
During Tuesday’s performance (Aug. 28), Drake also took the time to shout out the 11-year-old girl who he met earlier this week after seeing her version of the Shiggy challenge. According to the Scorpion rapper, the young girl recently underwent a successful heart transplant surgery and is on the road to recovery.
“Sofia, if they get this clip out to you, I love you and I’m happy for you,” said Drizzy.
