
Drake remains on a winning streak following the success of Views. The Toronto native’s current soundscape was received with mixed reviews, and was more than a success on the charts. Now, this recent news speaks to the album’s prowess.
According to Billboard, Drizzy was named Spotify’s “all-time most-streamed artist” following the release of Views. The project reportedly sold over 1 million copies following its debut on Apr. 29.
The project features guest spots from Future, Rihanna, dvsn, PartyNextDoor and more. Production was mainly handled by Noah “40” Shebib, who was a fan favorite for his nostalgic instrumentals.
During a sit down with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Drake shared that he won’t stay away from the studio too long, hinting at releasing new music later this year.
