In conjunction with Sprite and The FADER, Drake released a short mini documentary where he candidly talks about his ascent to the top of the music charts.
“Do it the way I did it,” he says in the above Obey Your Thirst documentary. “Do it from where you’re at. If you have the music, that’s all it takes.”

He truly believes it doesn’t matter where you’re from anymore in hip-hop. According to Drizzy, as long as you produce quality music, the fans will come to you.
