Drizzy season has returned, and the swift change in the musical climate commences with the Toronto native’s new single “Summer Sixteen.”
Over the energetic track, Drake spits boastful rhymes of why he’s number one in his field and even name drops fellow influencers like Jay Z, Kanye West, and even President Barack Obama.
“Tell Obama that my verses are like the whips that he’s in, they’re bulletproof,” he raps, adding, “I used to want to be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay.”
The “Energy” rapper has teased a surprise announcement all week since his return to the Apple Music program, and now fans finally have another cut to replay. This fresh tune leads us to believe that Views From the 6 will debut any day now.

UPDATE:
Drake reveals that Views From the 6 will drop in April, 2016. The “Pound Cake” rapper said he “felt it was that time, start setting that tone,” with this update. The tone has certainly been set.
