Although we still have a little more time on the clock before Drake’s highly anticipated album, Views from the 6 drops sometime this April (hopefully), it appears that Drizzy already has big plans in the works following the album’s release. During a surprise set at Austin’s SXSW, the “Summer Sixteen” artist teased fans with an upcoming tour.
As Drake poured over his hits like “Know Yourself,” “Energy,” and “Jumpman,” he also had time to say something to the screaming crowd. “I got nothing else to do but be here with you all in Austin,” he shouted.
He then went on to tease his upcoming album, asking the roaring crowd, “Views From the 6 coming in how many weeks? I hope you enjoy that s***.” He wrapped up the set with “Summer Sixteen,” before revealing that he would be back in Austin, Houston, and Dallas on tour following the album’s release.
So to mix a little good news with the bad, we still don’t have an official release date for Views, but it’s good to know that Drake is gearing up for a North American tour some time soon. That might be a sign that his album is coming sooner than we think.
