After Cardi B accused Nicki Minaj of attempting to stop her cash flow, other artists are coming forward with stories about their interactions with the Queen artist. DreamDoll recently came forward during an interview with ThisIs50 on Monday (Sept. 10), accusing the rapper of kicking her out of a New York radio station.
According to the “Everything Nice” rapper, Nicki’s team recently attempted to have her kicked out of New York’s Power 105.1 radio station. The rapper claimed she was there to promote her latest album Life in Plastic 2, when Nicki allegedly tried to give her the boot.
“When old girl came in there, there was some things that got back to me saying that we was told to get out the room,” DreamDoll recalled. “There was a call received saying that DreamDoll, that you know the reason why, [Power 105.1’s DJ] Self, you know the reason why, old girl don’t fuck with you. And the name that came out their mouth was DreamDoll and they said it three times.”
DreamDoll said she did not see Minaj at the time of the alleged incident, but speculates it stemmed from her support of Lil Kim, who has had a long-standing beef with Minaj over the years. Nicki also recently dissed DJ Self, whose record label Gwinin Entertainment DreamDoll is signed to.
Despite the alleged incident, the rapper said she has nothing against the “Barbie Dreams” artist. “I never disliked her. I never had anything against her,” she said. “I still don’t have a problem with Nicki.”
As previously reported, DreamDoll’s interaction follows Cardi B, Remy Ma, and Lil Kim, who have all alleged Minaj has acted behind the scenes to ruin them. Watch DreamDoll full interview here.
