Following the MTV VMA nominations announcement, Nicki Minaj revealed her thoughts on the Video of the Year snub for “Anaconda” to which Taylor Swift responded. The dynamic women traded their public statements for a few minutes, which had spectators playing ping-pong between their accounts to see what the other person had to say.

Before Meek aimed his attention at Drizzy, Bruno Mars also wanted to get in on the social media spat, and jokingly tweeted at Ed Sheeran, “Yo I want in on this twitter Beef!! VMAs is the new WWF!! @edsheeran F**k You!” The English Pop singer later responded:
