If you were a fan of Run The Jewels 2—the musical brainchild of El-P and Killer Mike and our second favorite album of 2014—there’s good news in store for you. A Run The Jewels 3 album is officially in the works, and as evidenced by El-P’s latest social media activity, it looks promising.
While there were no audible verses or even a description in the caption other than “#RTJ3,” a post on his Instagram teases just a few seconds new music from the forthcoming LP.

In the meanwhile, however, the rap duo released the video to their RTJ2 song, “Early.” With the tragic incidents surrounding Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray and more adding ammo to the war against police brutality, the dark, animated video couldn’t have dropped at a more appropriate time.
