Not sure who pissed Elle Varner off, but whoever you are, her latest single “The End of The Beginning” is the read of life.
The quirky singer-songwriter forgoes her savory vocals, and for three minutes raps about the woes of being a single black female (addicted to retail, of course).
Varner ponders and pontificates about what life would be like if she were a hoe. Would she ever half to worry about paying rent again? How much Louis Vuitton merchandise would she own? If the curly-haired cutie from L.A purchased a new pair of boobies, would her life be easier? Would men stick around? All questions good girls have pondered when they see other women flourish.
But “The End of The Beginning” is more than a Twitter rant set to music. Varner talks about new “friends” who weren’t there for her during the come up and wondering if she bares her heart and soul on wax, would anyone care?
