Eminem’s long-awaited return to the spotlight is finally here, as it’s been announced that the prolific rapper is set to headline the Reading and Leeds Festivals in England for the third time this summer.
The Detroit MC will return to the UK stage for the first time since 2013, where he served as the headliner for that year. The last time Eminem performed at the pair of festivals, he pumped up the crowd with hits like “Lose Yourself” and “Toy Soldiers,” and he brought collaborator Dido on stage to perform his stalker epic “Stan” with him.
“His 2013 headline performance was incredible and I can’t want to have him back,” said festival organizer Melvin Benn. The festivals, which usually hosts a myriad of rock and pop acts, will also welcome Migos, Tory Lanez, Danny Brown, Giggs, Wiley and Major Lazer to the stage over the course of the three-day event (Aug. 25-27).
As of now, Em has not announced plans for upcoming musical projects. However, he was recently featured on “No Favors” off of Big Sean’s fourth LP I Decided.
