We’d like to give thanks to whatever enticed Erykah Badu to travel the country during the brute of winter. The soul icon has decided to hit the road for a handful of tours across the country.
The scheduled performances are a mix of single sets as well as a headline slot on Miami’s iii Points festival between the end of December into the top of February 2019. Her last two shows in February marked “An Evening With Erykah Badu & Special Guest,” for Baltimore and Atlantic City are bound to bring more fans thanks to the mystery guest.
Badu has gifted her fans with memorable performances this year. Her performance at Afropunk Brooklyn brought deep cuts from her soulful discography in addition to her NPR Tiny Desk performance of “Rimshot” and “Green Eyes.” Recently, Ms. Badu took her music to colorful heights with SONOS and Hay for a 120-minute synaesthetic radio show based around different colors from the collection. Of course, Badu stayed true to her green aura with her plant-based mix.
