Erykah Badu brought her wisdom and wicked humor to Okayplayer for a Q&A and as to be expected, it was pretty dope.
Filmed in what maybe her room, or as she liked to call it “Budubotron” FatBellyBella answered questions about how she began the process of creating her latest mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone, to the range in subject matter she see on her timeline.
“I follow at least a quarter of the people that follow me and it’s just so interesting to go down my timeline to read people’s perspectives and point of views on things,” Badu said. “It’s super hilarious. It’s somebody talking about God. It’s somebody talking about hoes and it’s somebody talking about money. It’s just always like that, no matter how far you go down you’re going to get those three things: hoes, God and money. In that order.”
