Another Friday, another ‘90s classic ripped by Fabolous.
This time taking on Nas’ “Black Girl Lost” from his 1996 It Was Written album, Fab puts a Brooklyn twist on the Queens-bred legend’s classic. Delivering his ever-consistent punch over the L.E.S//Trackmasters beat, he revisits his usual topics of women and life in the fast lane and also touches on the week’s hot topics, including the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight and the wave of police brutality.

“Yo, they just want a nigga to lose; Mayweather-Pac-Man/ Government don’t play fair, they’d rather backhand/ Cops killin’ us left and right, pray for the black man,” he spits.
