Fat Trel has just dropped a new mixtape titled SDMG 2. While we wait for the MMG signee’s debut album, SDMG 2 provides us with an intense run of music. Features include fellow D.C. rapper Wale along with up and comer Dave East — among others. It’s a solid tape with some key production coming from Zaytoven and regular Trel collaborator Lyons League.
From 2009-2015 Trel released a solo tape every year and has become a local favorite in the DMV area. His gangsta rap stories help to create an aura of authenticity within his music. Rick Ross knew exactly what he was getting when he signed Trel to a deal back in 2013.
