The New Jersey representer recently sent an inspiring video message to a 10-year-old fan named Anthony, who is currently battling a brain injury, Live Civil reports. The child’s mother posted the “679” rapper’s motivational visual on Instagram, thanking Fetty for showing his support. “Still in aw! My kids truly lite up when this video came through!” she wrote. “Again this was truly amazing and Fetty is a beautiful soul for taking time to personally speak to Anthony!”
Within the video, Fetty shares his praise for Anthony’s willpower on the road to recovery. “You and your family are in my prayers. You’re such a fighter because you made it this far,” he said. “Your mom told me you’re such a big fan so you got to make sure you get well soon, buddy.”
Fetty’s memorable acts of kindness also occurred last year when he encouraged a young boy named Jayden to embrace his uniqueness after he lost his right eye to Retinoblastoma. “All I wanna do is show ppl that it’s not how you look or what you see it’s how you see it and what your looking for from yourself,” he wrote on Instagram. “I appreciate his confidence I appreciate you taking the time out for me and thank you for being a fan of me as a person and thank lil man for being a fan of Fetty Wap.”
