The girls of Fifth Harmony have taken over the parking lot of a nondescript motel to profess they are ride-or-die chicks in the visuals for their new song, “Down.”
Alongside the four bandmates, Gucci Mane makes a cameo near the end of the video, adding in supportive #bars. The video is kaleidoscopic in color, peppered with fur jackets and short dresses. There are also interludes of the girls, each in their respective motel rooms beautifully chanting the lyrics to this Bonnie and Clyde-inspired song.
The group is gearing up to release their third studio album, and first body of work since Camila Cabello left the band for a solo career back in December. “We’re really experimenting with a lot of different sounds,” Ally Brooke Hernandez told Billboard, adding that their new music will include “strong pop melodies” and “dark urban sounds.”
