Frank Ocean has been a name we’ve grown to love (and miss!), but to the dismay of the artist himself, it’s not a name he can enjoy on his own legal documents. Frank Ocean, born Christopher Breuax, was recently denied permission to keep his stage name on both fronts.
According to TMZ, his March 7 request was rejected because thanks to this summer, his driving record is less than ideal. He racked up three tickets for having expired insurance in June, driving without his headlights on in July and exceeding the speed limit in August.

Additionally, his license was suspended for skipping court dates. So until he cleans up his driving record and reapplies, Christopher it is.
