First, fans received a new set of tunes from Frank Ocean with the debut of his Endless project earlier this week. Now, a recent visual to assist the “Pyramids” singer’s latest melody, “Nikes,” hit the net at the crack of dawn on Saturday (Aug. 20).
Full of glittery faces and naked bodies adorned by dollar bills, the Tyrone Lebon-directed video packs in enchanting imagery within five minutes. Rappers Trina and A$AP Rocky also make a cameo within the reel, which paid homage to fallen figures like Trayvon Martin, A$AP Yams, and Pimp C.
Once Endless was released on Apple Music, representatives for the company notified Pitchfork that Ocean’s actual album will be available for the cyber listening party over the weekend.
