Frank Ocean is having fun with his recently publicized Instagram account (and impatient fans and curious onlookers alike are having just as much fun taking in his long-hidden #content). Posted on Nov. 19, Ocean took to his Instagram Stories to share a clip of him head-banging over some unreleased music.
While this little gem comes as a pleasant surprise to fans who are used to waiting years for new Frank Ocean music to drop, it’s unclear whether the track will ever see the light of day outside this clip. Regardless of the uncertainty, it’s nice to find Ocean taking a different approach to music.
In the snippet, Ocean taps into his Odd Future days and hones in on his rap skills. Trading his keys and synths for a hard-hitting trap beat, the “Godspeed” musician dabbles in rap’s new school, with a few tornado emoji’s to match to the switch-up.
