French Montana is making his stance on the Black Lives Matter movement clear after a recent run-in with the police. The MC4 rapper took to Instagram to share footage of his encounter with cops during a traffic stop. “I get pulled over too,” he tells fans. “Black Lives Matter.”
Throughout the video, French remains unintimidated during what thankfully did not turn into a grim situation. “I ain’t do nothing,” he says in the effort to clear his name. “Black Lives Matter, brother.”

No word on what prompted the police to target the Bad Boy signee, but we’re happy it ended in his favor given the nature of the times in the United States, which remains stained by unjustifiable cases of police brutality and tense race relations. “F**K THE POLICE only a few good ones left man,” he captioned.
