Drake and Meek Mill pressed pause on their individual rap game prowess last summer after they went back and forth in a series of diss tracks. But although the steam behind the tiff has evaporated, fellow rappers are still weighing in on the “R.I.C.O.” artists’ strain.
French Montana appeared on Larry King Now to discuss a bevy of topics, including the lyrical spat heard around the world. The Bronx native states that Drizzy and Meek didn’t have “real problems.” He later backed up that statement with, “I feel like it’s just a sport. It’s a sport, so it’s like competition. Sometimes you spar with somebody. That’s what that is, because ain’t nobody get hurt, nothing happens. I feel like it’s just part of the game, it brings excitement to the game.”
There’s no telling if there’s a plan for reconciliation for the rappers, but only time will tell if they’ll join each other on wax again.
