Kick the weekend off with these recent dance music releases, curated by DJ, producer and vocalist Lea Luna.
1. Anna Lunoe- “All Out” EP
Anna Lunoe has a full EP out this week on Ultra Records, featuring the lead single “All Out” which is arguably a pop record due to her unforgettable vocal hook. Still, it’s so laden with the electronic thickness that she’s so coveted for as a DJ that it’s a perfect dance selection for the ones and twos as well. The video is sweet, with flickering lights and Anna rocking fashion that playfully hints of throwback 90’s rave culture.

2. Cubicolor- “Got This Feeling”
“Got This Feeling” will open your heart the moment it hits your ears. Laid back beats create a space for beautiful piano melodies and ethereal textures to pull you in. You might as well stay in the zone for the whole 3-track EP it leads (also titled “Got This Feeling”) because the other two tracks entitled “Still Linger in My Dreams” and “A New High” are just as delightful.
3. Terra Bella- “Shine Bright”
Chill, intelligent vibes grace the speakers with “Shine Bright,” the new jam from Terra Bella, just in time for the chilly air of autumn. Terra Bella is an all-star trio made up of Ayla Nereo, Mr. Lif, and the Polish Ambassador, and together they shine bright with their positive message through Ayla’s beautiful songbird voice, Mr. Lif’s conscious hip-hip flow, and Polish Ambassador’s love-drenched production. Zen.
4. We Chief- “Gyals From Brooklyn” (Jillionaire & Rocky Wellstack Remix)
This bass-heavy moombahton joint is blastworthy. The full remix EP is worth checking out and is available for free download. Dig this ragga flavored vocal mixed in with the best of what new bass music culture has to offer.
5. Hunter Siegel- “New School Renegade”
A well-rounded house-meets-rave concoction is fresh out on Size records this week, boasting killer synths and stabs of modern dance music mixed in with classic old school break loops and funky grooves. This one will definitely get some good spins on the decks and the dancefloor.
6. Henry Fong & J-Trick- “Scream”
Tomorrowland festival attendees screamed their heads off when Martin Garrix played Henry Fong & J-Trick’s bounce masterpiece entitled “Scream” this year. Now you can get a copy from Musical Freedom records and get your scream on in your car, your home, your own DJ set, as long as its somewhere that a monstrous drop won’t wake the neighbors.
7. Firebeatz & Schella- “Switch”
This Dutch duo is on fire after a summer of slamming tunes and tours. “Switch” is sure to keep Firebeatz & Schella’s momentum for the last stretch of festivals with its big room electro flavor with a touch of trap element on the breakdown.
8. Stefan Dabruck- “Mefesarys”
Epic keys are the bulk of this work of art. The chords are masterful and uplifting, framed well by the unique choice of percussion, and driven home by incredible bassline on the drop. This one is cloud 9-level beautiful.
9. Taylor Franklyn- “Splinter”
Taylor Franklyn is a jack of all trades, with releases in many different subgenres of EDM. After putting out killer electro, glitch hop, and trance records, here we have his bangin’ new release in the drumstep realm that features his own vocal that is reminiscent of new wave. Not many producers can cover this much ground with such style.
