The hottest electronic dance music to kick off your weekend starts here:
Disclosure – You & Me (Flume Remix)
Flume orchestrates a musical collage of sounds to form what he’s dubbed a “crunk-wave” vibe. This magnum opus is one we’ve had on on repeat. Standby for release deets, but get crunk on the wave with a preview.
Tiësto & Dyro – Paradise
Tiësto and Dyro team up to form the dynamic track entitled “Paradise.” The melodic progressive-house tune features melodious guitar riffs and jaw-dropping synth work. Own it.
Rise At Night – Armed & Dangerous (Datsik Remix)
Armed with what is quite possibly the lowest and filthiest bass we have ever heard, Datsik gets grimey with this dangerously delicious remix. Released this week, you can grab the track off Rise at Night’s ‘Lady Killa’ EP. Own it.
Doctor P – The Champagne Bop
Doctor P has his PHD in bass-heavy bomb injections. With early-Skrillexy squeaky vocals, eclectic synth sequences and explosive breaks, “The Champagne Bop” is proof that dubstep is not dead. Kids, don’t blow out your eardrums with this one. Sneak a peak before it’s out on Big Beat Records June 24th.
BONUS:
Baggi Begovic feat. Tab – Compromise
An upbeat melody, kick-drum led chorus, and relatable lyrics make this the perfect Friday afternoon tune to gear up for the weekend. Out on Musical Freedom, Tiësto includes Compromise on his Club Life Vol 3 Stockholm comp. Baggi Begovic give us some insight to the record:
VIBE: What inspired you to write “Compromise?”
Baggi Begovic: Tiësto asked me to come up with some ideas for his Club Life Volume 3 compilation. I started playing around with different melodies and sounds and playing the material for him. When he heard the basic idea for “Compromise” we agreed that I was on to something cool, and I decided to run with it. Tiësto has been an amazing inspiration for me for many years, and so the opportunity to be included in Club Life for me is especially rewarding.
How did you and Tab link up?
My friend, Grammy nominated A&R Rodney Hill, was playing me some music from different vocalists including Tab. His voice jumped out at me because it reminded me of Chris Martin from Coldplay, whom I love. I sent him the track and as it turns out he was not only a great singer, but fantastic writer as well.
Own it.
