By now, it is no secret that Funkmaster Flex is not a Drake fan. At the height of the “6 God’s” beef with Meek Mill, the Hot 97 DJ took the side of the Philly rapper, slamming Drake for allegedly using ghostwriters in his music. Taking to the airwaves to bash Drizzy further, Flex even threatened to release more reference tracks – a la the Quentin Miller track heard ‘round the world. Now, nearly four months later, it looks like Flex is still not fond of the Toronto MC.
During an appearance at a release party event for Jadakiss’ Top 5 Dead Or Alive album, Flex hit the crowd with Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares Intro,” and took the opportunity to drop some choice words. In the short and not-so-sweet shot, Flex made his feelings about Drake abundantly clear.
“F**k that Canadian nigga!” he exclaimed as Meek’s fan favorite blared.
Welp. Looks like these two won’t be making amends anytime soon. Peep Funkmaster Flex’s quick Drake commentary below:
