Reportedly, Future has dropped his lawsuit against ex-fiancée and baby Future’s mother, Ciara.
In February, Ciara filed a $15 million lawsuit against the father of her child for libel and slander after he took his anger about child support and visitation discrepancies to Twitter, and accused her of being a bad mom. In tweets that have since been deleted, the “Where Ya At” rapper called Ciara out of her name several times and accused her of having “trust issues.” In an interview on The Breakfast Club, he also expressed anger that their son was spending so much time with her then new boyfriend (now fiancé) Russell Wilson. Future countersued with his own accusations of slander.
After recently winning joint custody of their son Future seeks amicability, believing that further pursuing his lawsuit against the “Body Party” singer would negatively affect his time with his son.
Ciara’s lawsuit is reportedly still in full swing.
