Last week (Feb. 28), plus-size model Naomie Chaput accused Future of denying her entry into a Miami nightclub where he was performing. Chaput alleged she was rejected because the rapper wouldn’t allow “fatties” into the venue. After receiving backlash on social media, the rapper responded, saying her claim is just not true.
“I’m just trying to understand really why this is, like, a thing. Why is he allowed to put those rules in place […] the discrimination is insane to me,” she added.
While she suggested that she wasn’t a huge fan of Future, she said his statements were absurd. “And it’s not that I wanted to see Future personally, because I don’t give a damn about no f**king rappers, but it’s the fact that it’s a thing in 2019 where we can say, ‘No fatties on the club.'” She continued.
Moments after Chaput’s story went live, fans blasted The Wizrd artist for his alleged body-shaming and discrimination. Future quickly hit back however, tweeting, “STOP CAPPIN ON MY NAME..I love all women.”
Chaput has not responded to Future’s comment.
