
After a canceled performance at the 2016 Summer Jam, Future has received some good news.
According to HotNewHipHop, Future’s third studio album Dirty Sprite 2 has officially gone platinum. Although his joint effort with Drake in late 2015, What A Time To Be Alive, reached platinum status earlier this year, DS2 makes it Future’s first solo album to do so.

With his debut album Pluto selling a reported 41,000 in its first week and Honest following up with 53,000, it should’ve been expected that the “Real Sisters” rapper would experience new heights when DS2 sold 147,000 in its first week. With hit songs like “Where Ya At,” the album was sure to lead a trail of success.

While his most recent album EVOL is said to have sold 100,000 copies in its first week, it’s yet to be seen if it will earn Future his second platinum selling album. But, hey. One at a time, right?
