After his recent release of Dirty Sprite 2, it’s safe to say that Future is one of 2015 most sought after rappers. So hot, in fact, that he had several shows in West Hollywood cancelled on the same night due to the massive and rowdy crowds.
Future was set to perform his last “Salute The Fans” show in Los Angeles at the Roxy nightclub on the Sunset Strip, but things didn’t go according to plans. According to the LA Times, 700 fans were at the venue, but it was only allowed to hold 500 people. The club soon reached max capacity, with fans spilling out into the streets. Eventually, the strip between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard was temporarily closed. Things got crazy to the point where police in riot gear arrive to tame the massive crowd.

Later that night, Future relocated the concert to the House of Blues where the same thing happened. According to KTLA, 800 attendees were guaranteed entry, but 1,200 people arrived. When doors opened around 10 p.m., unruly fans began to bum rush through the doors. Law enforcement was on the scene as there were reports of some attendees playing with fire extinguishers. Police officers blocked the streets once again, but that alone wouldn’t stop Future from giving the fans what he felt they deserved.

“Salute the fans #DS2LA I will be back soon to give give the ppl the show they deserve,” he tweeted.
Much later that evening, the “F**k Up Some Commas” artist tweeted that he was at the Supper Club. As the club promoted his name on the marquee, fans began to crowd the area once again. Once again, according to KTLA, the L.A.P.D. and the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived on the scene to assist with the potential overcrowding, where massive crowds filled the sidewalks.
The “Salute The Fans” tour was successful in previous stops at venues in Atlanta, Chicago and New York.
