Future has officially made it by being invited as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Jonah Hill has officially made it by being invited to perform “Jumpman” with Future. In lieu of the almighty “6 God” Drake, the rapper and actor put on a special performance of the What A Time To Be Alive track in a pretty trill addition to Hill’s opening monologue as the night’s host. Though reluctant at first, Fewtch accepts the assist from Hill, but not before warning him about saying the N-word. The result? A defining moment in SNL hip-hop history.
Furthering Hill’s newfound trill status, the actor introduced Future’s next set holding a double styrofoam cup. The Weeknd also made a special appearance, fresh off a stunning (and overdue) performance with Lauryn Hill on SNL just two week prior. The duo performed “Low Life” off of the rapper’s latest No. 1 album, EVOL. As for a skit, the good folks at “Weekend Update” tried to recruit Future for a new segment, but things didn’t go so well.
