While preparing to hit the road in the midst of his first tour, Gallant dropped the official video to his hit record “Miyazaki.” The R&B wunderkind featured the deep track on his debut album, Ology.
After he was found guilty of cheating, Gallant compares his heartbreak to suicide in the new visuals. However, he is willing to admit he was wrong in order to win his lover’s heart again. There’s also a clue in there that leads fans to believe there’s more parts to this story.
Ology was released through Mind Of A Genius Records on April 6 of this year, which was powered by his single “Weight in Gold”, which he performed on ‘The Tonight Show’ last month. Stand out tracks like “Open Up” and “Talking In Your Sleep” helped the project top the iTunes U.S R&B/Soul Charts in its first week with its mature sound and deep lyricism.
Gallant’s next stop on tour is this Saturday (July 2) in Canada.
