Fans of the legendary hip hop duo Outkast thought they were in for something big, as Gucci Mane revealed via Snapchat that he collaborated with Big Boi and Andre 3000 on a new track.
“I just did a record for OutKast,” the ATLien revealed in a video sent to his Snapchat story. He also told the camera that he worked on songs with Lil Wayne, Boozie Badazz, E-40, Quavo, Diplo and 2 Chainz.
So Gucci Mane did a feature for outkast. We getting a new song or new album or what? pic.twitter.com/JW8xE3lj2i

However, a rep for Andre 3000 reportedly said that there was “no Outkast news to report.” Aw man.
As we know, Outkast hasn’t worked together recently. They released the soundtrack to their film Idlewild in 2006, and before then in 2003, the duo released Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, which won the Grammy Award for “Album Of The Year” in 2004. They are set to perform at the Dungeon Family Reunion at the ONE MusicFest in October.
