It looks like Gucci Mane will be released from prison sooner than you thought. According to the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute database, the Atlanta native will reportedly be free on Sept. 20, 2016.
It’s official. Bureau of Prisons has bumped up Gucci Mane’s release date from March 2017 to September 2016. pic.twitter.com/MxSA7GKAjk

The “Lemonade” rapper was imprisoned to three years after pleading guilty to gun possession charges. He was convicted in May 2014, carrying out a 39 month sentence. Since that time, he’s kept his name bubbling in the music industry with a consistent flow of new mixtapes that he’s dropped since his federal prison tenure.
A few reports circulated late last year that Gucci was set to be released in March 2016, but it was quickly squashed after his team confirmed that release date was false.
So Gucci Mane NOT release on march #Fuck12 #FreeGucci 🔓🔓🔓
