Jimmy Kimmel has done it again. Growing tired of reciting the same children songs to his daughter, the late night talk show host commissioned a few hip-hop heavy weights Tuesday (June 14) to assist him in his lullaby quest of some new tunes for his baby girl.
Ice Cube, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil’ Jon, and Big Sean remixed some of their most lyrically nefarious tracks. While Ice Cube–who turns 47 today–hilariously drops a slew of curses in the process of introducing the new “album”, the kids still kick it off with “Today Was A Snow Day” in honor of one of the NWA rapper’s greatest hits.
After an excellent performance, Although a day early for Throwback Thursday, Lil’ Jon then plays his classic 2002 record “Get Low.” The track brilliantly gets turned into a PG-13 version about smacking a tetherball.
Ty, Big Sean, and A$AP play their part with remixes to their tracks “Paranoid”, “I Don’t F**k With You”, and “F**cking Problem,” succeeding in their goal to supply Kimmel with ample songs to his cutiepatootie daughter.
