It’s safe to say that Ice Cube doesn’t like to waste his time, and that was evident at Monday night’s Grammy Awards (Feb. 15). The Ride Along 2 co-star appeared on the program to present the award for Best Rap Album, which Kendrick Lamar won for To Pimp A Butterfly.
But Cube decided that his job was done, and instead ditched the rest of the festive night. Per his SnapChat, the Hip-Hop veteran issued a hilarious and replay-worthy response on why he left the building.
“If any of y’all thought I was going to stay through that whole three hour bullsh*t, you out your batty a** mind,” he cooly said. “I’m back in the car, b*tch,” all the while kicking back in his vehicle like a boss.

Cube definitely missed witnessing Lamar’s performance in the flesh, which was the talk of the night. The Compton native, who garnered five awards, performed “The Blacker The Berry,” “Alright,” and an unreleased track named “Untitled 3.”
