Iggy Azalea is back! Well, sort of. the Aussie jumped back on Twitter to explain to some of her fans know just how songwriting credits work.
@UpgradeYourStat Actually the invisible men wrote britneys parts and i wrote my own parts plus rewrote parts of the hook…

@UpgradeYourStat when the I.M wrote the demo version little mix where in the session and therefore they have remained on the credits
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) April 14, 2015
@UpgradeYourStat thats how it works for anyone thats present in the room when a song is written and good for them. love little mix.

@MEGENTRIPODI they were working with the invisible men on their own album and one of the songs they deemed was a very early version on PG
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) April 14, 2015
@MEGENTRIPODI no, the invisible men wrote an earlier version that they did. with different verses which they may or may knothole written
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) April 14, 2015
@MEGENTRIPODI i can’t say as i wasn’t in their session, now its got different britney verses and a redone hook etc.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) April 14, 2015
@MEGENTRIPODI but they remain on the credits as they were part of the original demo. thats how writing credits work.

The “Fancy” singer also spoke about the ghostwriting claims made about her hit single “Fancy” and her collaboration with Britney Spears on “Pretty Girls.” Skeme claimed that he wrote everything for “Fancy” except the Charli XCX hook, so Azalea made sure to clear things up.
@LuisUnleashed its the same situation as when fancy was called leave it and skeme had a feature verse on it and then we took him off changed
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) April 14, 2015
@LuisUnleashed the hook up with charli renamed it and he still remains on the credits because he was part of the demo version.
— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) April 14, 2015
@LuisUnleashed writing credits can mean a number of things, maybe explaining it can make their fan base calm it down a few notches. lol.

And while Azalea says she’s not exactly back on Twitter, she does talk about continuing to work on her album. Stay tuned.
I’m still working on my album and things are going good. “work” type vibes, earlier fans will be happy 2 hear. love you all. bye. xo
