Iggy Azalea will not make her scheduled appearance at Pittsburgh’s Pride Weekend on June 13. After garnering considerable backlash from the LGBT community for cultural appropriation and alleged homophobic remarks, the Grand Hustle rapstress took to Twitter to announce the cancellation of her performance:

Pittsburgh’s Pride Weekend, sponsored by Delta Foundation, was also criticized for not being inclusive of the entire LGBT community. The organization released a statement through the Pittsburgh City Paper, defending its decision to invite Iggy to perform.
“Iggy is a highly regarded artist and female entertainer and we have received a tremendous amount of positive messages from members of the community and our allies both locally and nationally that are excited that she will be performing at Pittsburgh Pride,” it read.
Iggy Azalea also recently cancelled her debut tour, “The Great Escape,” last month.
