After a month-long hiatus from the social media site, Iggy Azalea returned to Twitter on Tuesday (Dec. 1) and possibly addressed that not-so-subtle joke served by Erykah Badu during the latter’s hosting stint at last weekend’s Soul Train Awards.
In the shade thrown ’round the world, Ms. Badu, who recently blessed our Thanksgivings with a new mixtape, received a “phone call” from the controversial musical artist at the show during her monologue, jokingly claiming that what Azalea does is “definitely not rap.”

After remaining generally quiet, Iggy took to the Twittersphere to speak her peace. She alludes that constant scrutiny from others “seems exhausting,” but she’s doing what she can to ignore the haters.
We are days from 2016, but i came online today and saw its still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL, fucking hell.

The “Work” rapper also tweeted about other things on her mind, including the whereabouts on her upcoming music and restructuring her style. The Australian artist later told fans that she’s probably not going to tweet again until 2016 unless she has “any updates” to share with her Azaleans.
Check out some of her tweets below.
