Jackson has allowed cameras into her Malibu home for an hour-long sit-down interview with Good Morning America correspondent Robin Roberts. It will be the first time Jackson has allowed cameras into her home.
The Nov. 18 interview comes one day after the release of the singer’s greatest hits album, Number Ones. She is expected to speak at-length about the death of her brother Michael Jackson, who lingers in the spotlight after the release of the documentary This Is It.
In its opening night, the film–based around Jackson’s final London tour, which never came into fruition due to the legend’s death at the age of 50–raked in a reported $2.2 million.
Jackson spoke briefly about her brother after a special performance tribute at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. “To you, Michael is an icon,” she said. “To us Michael is family, and he will forever live within our hearts.” –Linda Hobbs
