Janet Jackson is off enjoying the bliss of pregnancy-hood while her music is making a strong comeback on streaming sites.
According to Spotify, the award-winning singer’s tune, “Nasty,” saw a 250 percent increase thanks to Wednesday night’s final presidential debate (Oct. 19).

While Senator Hillary Clinton discussed her stance on social security, stating “I am on record as saying that we need to put more money in the social security trust fund. That’s part of my commitment to raise taxes on the wealthy,” Donald Trump interjected with, “Such a nasty woman.”
Social media users reclaimed the term on Twitter and showed their support for Clinton.

“Nasty” is featured on Jackson’s third album, Control, and was crafted by super producers, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. It received a gold plaque and featured a dance-filled video, which was choreographed by Paula Abdul, and directed by Mary Lambert.
