Ex-Subway spokesman Jared Fogle is expected to plead guilty for one count of travel to engage in illicit sexual conduct with two minors, and one count of distribution and consuming child pornography.
Reportedly, Fogle has agreed to pay $1.4 million in restitution to a total of 14 minors, two of which he had sex with. He will also be forced to register as a sex offender, and attend treatments for sexual disorders. He has also agreed not to request less than five years of prison time; the government in return agreed to not give him more than 12.5 years. Federal prosecutors allege that Fogle indeed traveled to pay for sexual acts with minors stemming from as far back as 2007. The married father of two planned his business trips to coincide with his sexual encounters, according to The Associated Press.

Allegedly, on November 3, 2012, Fogle paid a 17-year-old girl to have sex with him he met online at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, where he was staying. According to the document he also paid her again several months later, when they met at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Also stating, that Fogle knew how old the girl was, because she had told him her age before they met. He also later went onto text her that if she can find him a younger girl to have sex with and that he would pay her more money.
Reports have also indicated that Fogle received child pornography various times from Rusell Taylor, the former chief of the Jared Foundation. Taylor filmed the other 12 victims that Fogle must give money to on camera engaging in “sexually explicit conduct,” which he was in possession of. Two months before Fogle’s home invasion, Taylor was arrested on child pornography production and possession. Fogle then released a statement reprimanding Taylor for his actions.
Now, the sandwich franchise has officially cut all ties with Fogle; he represented the brand for 15 years, and lost 200 pounds through a Subway diet. Fogle’s wife, Katie recently released a statement via her lawyer affirming that she wants nothing to do with Jared.
“Obviously, I am extremely shocked and disappointed by the recent developments involving Jared. I am in the process of seeking a dissolution of the marriage. My focus is exclusively on the well-being of my children.”
Further details for this case are still pending.
