Jason Derulo and David Guetta recently teamed up for a new collab, and they recruited some big hitters to jump on the record with them. The duo recently dropped their new track “Goodbye” on Friday (Aug. 24), featuring Nicki Minaj and Willy William.
The infectious smash reportedly samples Andrea Bocelli’s “Time to Say Goodbye,” mixing it with Latin and Caribbean dance music. Nicki seems to flex more of her vocals on the new track as well as fast-spitting rhymes. “Advising, ye-yes this ties in (okay) / No-none of you h*es will ever see my pen,” she raps on the third verse, shouting out her exceptional writing abilities.
Both Nicki and Jason Derulo teased the new collaboration on various platforms. Minaj most recently shared a snippet during the most recent episode of her Queen Radio show on Thursday (Aug. 23). “Rlly love this song y’all,” Nicki later wrote in a caption on Instagram following the single’s release.
“Goodbye” will reportedly appear on Guetta’s seventh studio album, Title 7, which is slated to drop on Sept. 14.
