We don’t hear from Jay Electronica very often, but whenever we do, it’s usually either bars or smoke. And on Friday, he had words for Eminem.
When Eminem threw lyrical darts at Machine Gun Kelly on Friday with “KillShot,” Sean “Diddy” Combs caught a stray. “The day you put out a hit’s the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed,” Em rapped, playing on conspiracy theories that have circled around the music mogul and businessman for years.
Eminem ended the song with, “I’m just playing Diddy, you know I love you,” similar to many of his older songs. But Jay Electronica, a friend of Diddy and a former resident of Eminem’s hometown of Detroit, took Em to task – and shouted out his best friend for good measure.
“How dare you accuse Diddy of killing Tupac while you completely look pass [sic] Jimmy Iovine and those who profited from his death the MOST,” he wrote, alluding to the Interscope Records founder who helped fund Death Row Records. “You best tread carefully Son, before I come tear your ivory tower down like Sulaiman done the Templar Knights. #ripProof”

Jay Electronica also accused Eminem of disrespecting Minister Louis Farrakhan when he was trying to get 50 Cent and Ja Rule to resolve their feud.
“Remember this was the very video I had to check you on before for blaspheming the Minister in the midst of him trying to bring Ja Rule and 50 to peace. Tread carefully,” he concluded.
Will Eminem have another battle on his hands?
