Fans are patiently waiting for the release of Jay Rock’s 90059 album. But without a concrete arrival time, a few spectators are wondering when exactly the new tunes will be available for purchase.
First, news broke of a Sept. 4 release time, which makes sense since the Cali-native is currently on a press run promoting his highly-anticipated project. According to TDE’s CEO Top Dawg, the fans have all the power of getting their hands on the album by pre-ordering it on iTunes. The more people who pre-order, the closer the date will get to the present.
Now iTunes is showing a Dec. 4 date, but that might change depending on Top Dawg’s intelligent plan. 90059 is already shaping up to be a great album, given the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Easy Bake,” and other singles like “Gumbo,” and “Money Trees Deuce.”
