The masses have not yet forgotten about that Lifetime Aaliyah biopic. Starring Mike O’Brien – yes, a white guy – as Hov, the comedy sketch bills itself as “the definitive, fully accurate biopic that is the final word on the subject” of Jay Z’s life. The hilarious portrayal also features appearances from a fictional Kanye West and Nas (played by host J.K. Simmons). Based on Jay Z, but not resembling Jay Z at all, the clip is a ridiculous exaggeration that drives the biopic point home.
“It’s raw. It’s gritty. It’s 100% accurate,” said no one ever.
