We have to thank Jazz Cartier for releasing his Hotel Paranoia project earlier this year. While the album might have slippe past some critics, the kid really caught our attention.
Directed by Jon Riera, the futuristic virtual reality visuals for “Red Alert/100 Roses” finds Cartier tapping into his creative side while hanging out the window of a speeding car. He then finds himself in the middle of a forest as he raps for the camera. The Canadian emcee spoke exclusively with Complex about the process of making this unique video.
“This one took months of planning before we actually shot it. Jon Riera came to me with the idea and after countless meetings we came to the conclusion that we wanted to expand the vision and make the video entertaining at all times,” Cartier said.
