“You are so special to me,” the “Wading” singer stated. “To the world. While we’re both still on this planet I just want to say…I love you beyond measure. Even tho I get big mad and u trigger the f**k out of me. u make me feel. and I appreciate that. because I thought I was dead inside. my ego has no say when it comes to you.”
Since the time when the pair ended their relationship, fans have voiced their thoughts on the type of content Aiko will record for her forthcoming music. In response, the Sail Out artist said, “My next album is all freestyles where I touch on many subjects and relationships… past, present and future.”
The former pair produced a standout collaborative album in 2016 titled TWENTY88. With an effortless blend of R&B and hip-hop sounds, Aiko and Sean recorded cuts like “On The Way,” “London Bridge,” “Selfish,” and the K-Ci & JoJo-assisted “2 Minute Warning.” Producers like KeY Wane, Da Internz, Detail, Cam O’bi and more handled the melodies.
