Jhene Aiko has always been a little left of center. She’s not your average girl, and that’s why fans love her and her music, so it’s no surprise that the 28-year-old broke her musical silence by coming clean and announcing to the world she’s a maniac.
On the raunchy new track, Aiko spits candidly about being a freak on the low (but once you hear the song, you’ll realize she’a freak on HIGH) and waiting up all day and night for the one. She proudly lets her crazy flag fly.
Aiko teased the new record earlier in the week on Twitter and finally released it Thursday. (Nov. 17)

While there’s no word if “Maniac” is one song from a full-length LP, Aiko gave fans hope she’ll soon be following up her 2014 album Souled Out.
