Earlier this week, it was revealed that Jhene Aiko filed for divorce from Dot Da Genius after only 11 months of marriage. Social media had a field day with the news because Aiko has been linked to her Twenty88 partner, Big Sean, for the last several months.
On Saturday (Aug. 13), the “Déjà Vu” singer spoke out about ending her marriage, and put a few inquiring minds in their place.

Aiko and Dot Da Genius tied the knot in 2015. Meanwhile, Dot’s friend and collaborator Kid Cudi is standing up for the producer.
Apparently, a crafty Twitter detective dug up one of Cudi’s old tweets to Aiko that read, “If you hurt him, I’ll kill you,” in reference to Dot.
Cudi retweeted the post and took a shot at Aiko (and possibly Big Sean) in the process.
