R&B singer JoJo has seemingly remained tight-lipped since the 2016 cycle of her acclaimed album, Mad Love. However, fans and followers of the 27-year-old recently spotted the songstress in the studio with popular R&B/hip-hop producers. The image sparked the conversation that new music might be on the way.
On Wednesday (Oct. 31), producer Bryan-Michael Cox posted an in-studio photo on Instagram with the “Leave (Get Out)” crooner alongside Jermaine Dupri. His caption reads: “Not all superheroes wear capes.”
On Wednesday (Nov. 8), the “Too Little Too Late” artist also posted a photo of a studio session with producers Nash B (Jacquees, Young Thug, Chris Brown), Forte Bowie (Trey Songz, Trinidad James) and Supa (TK Kravtiz).
According to a TRL interview in July, JoJo expressed interest in a hip-hop influenced album, saying that the genre played a pivotal role in her life. “I really want to bring that to the forefront of this project and make sure that it’s interwoven throughout his entire project,” JoJo added.
